DeLaval CowMover M

The DeLaval CowMover M supports smooth cow traffic, where the cows remain calm and relaxed. This driver moves slowly but steadily, which means less stress for the cows and ensures a safe process. The automatic forward function of the DeLaval CowMover M moves the gate forward in batches, 15 cm at a time. This allows the cows to move up without being pushed. A new group of cows can enter the waiting area behind the DeLaval CowMover M. This ensures smooth cow traffic, while the groups remain safely separated. The driver returns to the starting position above the following group of cows. There it is lowered again and the driving process can begin for the next group of cows.

Gently pushes cows out of the cubicles without using an electrical fence. Cows can remain peaceful when they walk to the milking area. This reduces the milker’s work load and allows him/her to focus on the milking routine without interruptions. There is no milking routine disturbance when cows enter the parlour. This smart system eliminates the need for a designated waiting area because the cows are gently collected directly from the resting area, before milking. The cow mover quietly pushes the cows out and drives them through, for good cow circulation. A new group can enter just behind the cow mover as it moves ahead, to help ensure continuous cow traffic and keep the groups separated.

This crowd gate is the economical choice for a smallerscale dairy operation. It combines automation and manual functions, to gently encourage smooth cow flow straight to the parlour entrance. Unlike other more costly systems, the gate features a manually operated air or electric motor to power the crowd gate forward. This gate can also be customized on-site to suit your operation, helping ensure a correct fit in holding pens.

Custom-built to your holdingarea specifications. A unique feature is the vertical lifting gate - the pipe rails lift straight up, allowing cows to pass under. Built to withstand harsh dairy environments. The standard overhead bridge is constructed of dual six-inch channel and is welded for strength. Hot-dipped galvanized pipe rails are constructed of 2 1/2” pipe and welded to fourinch galvanized pipe collars.

The ECG 300 electric cow propellor drives the cows while ensuring safety and comfort for the animals and the milker. It has been developed to increase milking parlour throughput without neglecting safety factors. If the propellor moves forward and encounters resistance, it stops and starts moving again after a preset time. The stable and durable ECG300 propellor gate has been developed to meet the requirements of modern dairy farms and includes a vertical lift system that allows animals to easily enter the pre-feed yard.
