DryMaxx™ is a natural product, made from diatomaceous earth, that appears in the earth’s surface. This enviroment friendly bedding treatment offers your cows or calves a more hygienic environment. It can be applied in a shed, calving pen, barn or walkway - wherever cows or calves eat, drink, walk and rest.

DryMaxx™ has high moisture absorption and ammonia neutralising properties, to help keep stall surfaces dry and bacteria levels low. This promotes good udder and hoof health. Reducing moisture in the barn means less bacteria in the environment - reducing bacterial growth means reduced udder and hoof infections. By controlling ammonia levels and providing dry surfaces, DryMaxx™ can increase cow productivity and comfort through reduced levels of stress, odours, insects and disease.
Ammonia neutralising properties
DryMaxx™ is made up of diatomaceous earth, which neutralises ammonia on contact by absorbing liquid ammonia present in manure, preventing its release as a gas. It is a well known fact that high ammonia levels in intensive farming systems can lower the amount of available oxygen for normal respiration, blood circulation and production in livestock.
Friendly, non-irritant solution
DryMaxx™ is a naturally occurring product with a very neutral skin-friendly pH of around 6. It's granulated form minimises dust, making it safe for both people and animals. DryMaxx™ is easy to apply, manually or automatically, and does not react to give harmful by-products, making it also very environmentally friendly.
