At DeLaval, we’re honored to work with so many incredible women worldwide, whose invaluable contributions are shaping the future of the dairy industry. In celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8, we invited our talented female colleagues to share photos and reflections on what inspires them about their work or what motivated them to join the industry.

Inge Kiemel, Marketing and Sales Support Coordinator, Netherlands: "Although I didn’t grow up on a dairy farm myself, I was surrounded by farmers – hard-working people who are truly passionate about what they do. Now that I work at DeLaval, I can do my part in supporting dairy farmers through their challenges and helping ensure the sector continues to innovate and survive. That, in my eyes, is extremely important. I’ve been part of the #TeamBlue family for almost four years, and I say family because it truly feels that way. No two days are the same—there’s always a new project, a fun challenge, or an intriguing problem to solve. And we do it as a close-knit team, all over the world, sharing the same passion!”
Monica Berlese, Dairy Farm Advisor, and Stefania Leonardi, Market Solution Manager AMS, FMS & FSY, both based in Italy, say: 'We work together to spread technology and innovation to our dealers and farmers, and we believe that cooperation and trust as a team make us stronger and better in our job. Go ladies!"
Morgan Davis, Channel Marketing Specialist, North America, says: "I love seeing dairies succeed with the help from Team Blue!"
Anna Stoll, DeLaval Veterinarian and Animal Health & Hygiene Consultant, Germany; here she was on Wallenburg organic farm (Germany), where she was testing the new Titan teat dip: “I enjoy my job as an animal health and hygiene advisor at DeLaval because I can help farmers improve the health and welfare of their animals, find sustainable solutions and thus contribute to the performance and sustainability of their farms.”
Yimi Dang,HR Specialist, HR Asia & Pacific:"What I enjoy most is working in such a diversity and inclusive team. The aspect that truly excites me is our constant pursuit of new and better ways of working. It's similar to how we approach our customers by offering better solutions grounded in extensive knowledge and experience."
Nancy Charlton, DVM, Senior Advisor and Project Management, Cluster Asia Pacific and Market Area North America: "I grew up on a dairy farm and attended the Ontario Agriculture College, University of Guelph. Thirty years ago, there were few field careers outside of sales, so I chose to apply and study veterinary medicine. I became a food animal veterinarian. After leaving traditional clinical work with food animals, I joined DeLaval, focusing on supporting technology with our dealers and farmers. In addition to our clients, I work with academic researchers and other dairy farm advisors to help expose them to our technology and build the image of our brand to influence the influencers."
Paulina King, Paulina King, Product Manager - Clusters and Teat spray solutions, Poland: "“There’s always something new. A lot of unexpected things happen. We go to farms, see animals, talk to people, and meet other cultures while travelling abroad.”
Sylwia Śliż, Infrastructure Specialist, says: "What I like most about my job is that no two days are the same. I enjoy solving technical challenges and making sure everything runs smoothly. I got into this field because I’m interested in infrastructure and building management – it’s a great mix of technical work and practical problem solving."
Marika Cederholm, Product Manager Liners & Tubes, Sweden: A photo from the other week where I attended the US Consumables Conference and trained the dealers and participants on Evanza dos and don'ts. There are amazing opportunities within this job to meet people from around the world and to spread knowledge, helping dealers and colleagues make our customers more profitable and successful. As an Agronomist, I enjoy being able to work preventatively and make cows produce as much as possible while keeping them as healthy as possible. Sometimes it is the small things that make a large difference."
Nina Zingelmann, DeLaval Solution Manager Farm Management Support & Digital Services Germany & Austria; also one of the hosts of our DeLaval Plus webinar series in Germany: "I very much like the variety in my work for DeLaval. As Solution Manager, I'm not only in the office, but also out in the field a lot and have contact with customers, but also with the sales team and consultants or other people from the dairy industry.”
Nadine Groenewold (left) and Beke Möller from the DeLaval Herd Management team in Germany are on their way to give a presentation at the University of Applied Sciences in Kiel for local agricultural students. Nadine is also one of the hosts of our DeLaval webinar series.
Nadine says: “I am delighted every time I help a farm identify weak points and optimise processes with the help of the DeLaval DelPro/DeLaval Plus farm management programme.”
Beke says: “I love the variety and diversity of my job, as well as the individuality of the companies and people I work with. I find all the process steps, from conversion to optimisation, both motivating and exciting. I am happy to be able to pass on my practical knowledge and my passion for cows.”
Farzaneh Ahmadzadeh, Data Scientist, Animal Intelligence and Milking Points, Sweden:
"I'm originally from Iran, but I’ve been living in Sweden for 13 years. For the past four years, I’ve been working as a data scientist with the Machine Learning team at DeLaval in Tumba, Sweden. What I find most fulfilling, compared to my previous experience, is how we can use technology to improve the health and well-being of living creatures.
As a Ph.D. holder in Industrial Engineering, my focus used to be on optimising production efficiency. Here, the goal is similar—but far more exciting—because working with intelligent cows is even more fascinating than working with machines!"

It is a privilege to leverage my expertise to support farmers in their endeavours to ensure a sustainable food supply for all."
Marie-Cécile ,Market Solution Manager France for Digital Services for Dealers and Animal Welfare and Farm Supply: "I have always been attracted by dairy farming and joining DeLaval in 2008 was proof. I love being in contact with so many different people, farmers, dealers, technicians, sales man, all the dairy industry players. So many different skills, characters... We never get bored!"
Mirella Cholda, Recruiter, HR EMEA, and Beata Jedrzejewska, Senior Recruiter / HR Business Partner, Poland. Mirella says: "I work as a recruiter in DeLaval’s HR department in Poland. I never thought I would be part of the dairy industry, but life has a way of surprising us. My first encounter with dairy farming happened in my childhood when I spent a summer in Bavaria, surrounded by beautiful dairy farms. It was there that I first saw DeLaval products in action, helping farmers in their demanding daily routines. I still remember how hard and relentless their work was—early mornings, long hours, and challenges that never seemed to end. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for our customers and the dedication they put into producing high-quality milk. Today, I feel proud to support them in a different way—by helping DeLaval find and hire passionate people who share our mission of making sustainable food production possible."

Beata says: "My role at DeLaval is very broad because I hold the position of Senior Recruiter and HR Business Partner in the HR department. I support managers from the selection of an employee through their development and across the entire employee lifecycle.
March 8th is very close to my heart because it is both my birthday and my name day! I am interested in the topic of a healthy lifestyle, which is why, at DeLaval, I am eager to get involved in projects dedicated to well-being. One of them—'Health Day'—is my favourite, and soon I will have the pleasure, together with the team, of launching its third edition. I love my job at this company because I feel surrounded by good and open people whom I can always count on—and together we achieve our goals."
Mariana Guerrero, Digital Content Creator, Digital Services, Sweden, says: 'What inspires me the most about my job is being able to learn about the farmers' stories and see how our products and services create such a positive impact on their lives."
Yvonne Kloosterman, Customer Service Supervisor, Canada: "What I enjoy about my job is working with people who are dedicated and passionate about what they do.  And I like the fact that our industry provides food to people."
Mia Stålenmark, Coordinator Assembly Planning/Technical Support/Training, Sweden, says: "I love my job, my colleagues, and the unity we have at DeLaval."
Marloes van ‘t Klooster, Marketing and Sales Support coordinator (Offline): "Why do I love working in this industry? As a farmer’s daughter, agricultural is in my blood. This is where I feel at home. What I like about my job: I love going out of the office to take photos and make testimonials of other farmers. It’s amazing to see all different kinds of farms and meet all different kinds of farmers!"
Ewa Diakowska, Senior Legal Counsel responsible for EMEA, says: "As legal counsel in the dairy industry, I find great fulfilment in supporting a sector that nourishes communities and plays a vital role in our daily lives. What inspired me to join this industry is its blend of tradition and innovation—where legal challenges intersect with sustainability, food safety, and evolving regulations. I enjoy working alongside passionate professionals to navigate complexities, ensure compliance, and contribute to the industry's long-term success."
