DeLaval Optimat™ system
A complete feeding solution, using automation for feed efficiency. This solution provides automated mixing and distribution. You of course select the equipment that will best suit your needs. Feed is weighed, cut and mixed in one of our stationary mixers and delivered to the feed table by a rail-suspended distribution wagon, DeLaval FS1600 or DeLaval RA135. The only non-automated task is loading forage into the stationary mixer.

Stationary mixers
DeLaval stationary mixers VSM
The VSM comes in six sizes, from 8 m³ to 22 m³. All have mixing containers in high quality steel and mixing gear designed for heavy duty operation and long service life. Weighing and programming of the mixed ration can be managed on a stand alone system, or connected to management software. A DeLaval vertical stationary mixer provides a good, fluffy feed mix within a short mixing time. The unique auger design in combination with the counter knives mixes and cuts even whole round bales and long straw.

DeLaval feed wagons
OptiWagon
With our top-of-the-range version of the autonomous ground-operating OptiWagon, you can tell the wagon where to go to the barn and where to start/stop dispensing the feed. It allows you to feed different recipes to different groups of cows. OptiWagon also knows how many kg it should dispense to a certain area. OptiWagon is able to make multiple distributions spread over the day which provides fresh feed all the time.
