DeLaval ARS100 (Automatic Rail Switch 100) and RSCB100 (Rail Switch Control Box 100)

DeLaval automatic rail switch ARS100 is a mechanical switch controlled by the rail switch control box RSCB100. It allows switching between two rails automatically according to the chosen configuration. Inductive sensors detect the rail switch arm position, limit switches and/or inductive sensors detect the feed wagon(s) activity. ARS100 and RSCB100 will ensure the feed distribution to the right groups on time.

Integrated to Optimat Systems

The number of feed dispensings plays a critical role in maximizing feed intake and milk production. DeLaval Optimat system gives the possibility to feed multiple times per day. More complex barn layouts or wide feed tables often require multiple rails. The rail switch saves costs for such barns.

Smooth Operation and Cost Efficient

Like your farming system, Optimat operates on a consistent and continuous cycle. ARS100 and RSCB100 secure efficient collaboration between the rail suspended feed wagon and the Optimat kitchen. It does not require any maintenance except greasing. Depending on the barn layout, ARS100 can work in conjunction with one kitchen and multiple feed tables or two kitchens and one feed table.

Different Configurations

Every farm is different and has its own feeding method and layout. The design of ARS100 is universal. It can work with or without power rail and can be reconfigured in each of the three versions: L, R, or Y. To achieve the most efficient and fastest way of feed distribution, ARS100 and RSCB100 can be configured to meet different farm requirements.
