Gates and partition walls

There is a wide range of products for group separation, depending on the area of use. Partition walls with plywood sheets for calving pens, for example, and partition walls with vertical pipes for better visibility of the animals. Telescopic gates, partition walls with pin lock or vertical gates for easy opening and closing when moving animals. Gates and walls are adapted to suit requirements and animal size.

DeLaval telescopic gate TG2

DeLaval telescopic gate TG2 is a two pipe telescopic gate. It can be extended one meter and is opened and closed with a locking pin which is easy to open and close. The locking pin has a protective plastic pipe which prevents animals to open it. Available in five sizes, from a c/c post distance of 1.0 meters up to 5.0 meters. If the c/c between the posts is more then 4 meters, a supporting brace needs to be mounted that helps hold the gate in correct position. The telescopic gate is light weight which makes it keeping the shape better and makes it easier to open and close. 

DeLaval telescopic gate TGP4

DeLaval horizontal gate TGP4 with four pipes is a robust and rigid solution to create groups in the free stall barn. It fits well both for beef cows and dairy cows.

DeLaval lifting gate

This versatile gate offers considerable flexibility to assist with cow traffic. It provides an easy way to guide cows, or to make temporary groups at milking time. DeLaval lifting gate is an easy-to-attach hinged barrier to close an alley or cross an alley in the barn temporarily to guide the cows when, for example, going to the parlour.

An opening in a gate or partition wall without bottom pipe for easy passage of humans or animals. The gate is modular and can be fitted with a partition wall PW2 or a four pipe telescopic gate TGP4

Vertical gate VGM

Needs less space than a traditional gate that swings open on hinges. It reduces the risk of injury to animals and humans. The gate offers an adjustable width between 1.8-4.7m. The gate is balance by counter weights and can be raised and lowered easily. The gate can only be installed at 70mm x 70mm x 4mm posts with minimum length of 3 meters.

DeLaval partition wall PW2 with sheet

The partition wall with sheet is constructed with 2" horizontal pipes and a durable plywood sheet. As standard the partitions will be bolted to the posts fittings but can also be equipped with locking rods or locking pins when the partition want to be possible to open. All partitions have the wall height of 1165mm which will keep the animals in separate areas.
