DeLaval feed fence DS-W

DeLaval feed fence DS-W is a welded diagonal feed fence. It is available in sizes from young stock to heavy breeds. The welded fence is available in the most common sizes. DS-W is recommended to use for dairy cows but especially for beef breeds and fattening bulls. The opening width is kept as narrow as possible to minimize feed spillage. As it is a welded feed fence, the opening width cannot be modified. Therefore, there is an option to mount an extra horizontal pipe, to avoid smaller animals entering the feed table. This option is especially useful when the feed fence is used for a group of little animals that grow and use the same feed fence and when it is used for suckler cows.

DeLaval feed fence FT50

A simple solution with one or two horizontal, two-inch pipes installed at the posts. One horizontal pipe is always extended 25 cm in the direction of the feed table, to give the cow a good eating position without pushing against the pipe. DeLaval FT 50 has an animal and user friendly design with a smooth, strong connection for the neck pipe installed on 70x70 mm posts. The installation height of the pipes must be adapted to the animal’s size.

DeLaval feed fence DS-HD is a bolted, strong and durable solution. The diagonal pipes are specially designed to help prevent waste, to prevent food stuff being spilled in the alleys. The diagonal design encourages cows not to toss feed into the alley which facilitates easier manure handling. The bolted solution gives flexibility in neck width and feeding space per animal. Suitable for dairy cows and beef cows.
