DeLaval has unveiled a new milking methodology that responds to the cow’s natural milk flow to save time and improve animal welfare.

New robot batch milking system launched

DeLaval has launched a new robotic ‘batch milking’ system to enable dairy farmers with larger herd sizes to use milking robots more efficiently. “The new VMS Batch milking system will enable dairy farmers to merge the benefits milking robots provide with the advantages of a larger, or rotary, parlour,” explains DeLaval’s large herd specialist, Robert Jensen.

Sales of milking robots up 20 percent

Rise in demand for DeLaval milking robots has led to an increase in production of more than 20 percent. DeLaval has seen a surge in demand for its VMS™ V300 model and the new VMS™ V310.
